Steps to make to make Stuffed Idli
- Soak Rice and Uraddal in separate containers for 2-3 hours. Grind them to fine paste and mix well. Add 1 tbsp curd and rest for 4-5 hours. For stuffing Take 1 tbsp Oil in kadai. Put mustard seeds in it.let it crackle add Channadal and Uraddal.
- Add green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, onions and simar till onions turn transparent.
- Add Grated Potatoes, salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander and mix well.
- Take idli batter add 2 tbsp Oil, salt as per taste and mix well. Add soda bi carb or eno to the batter.and mix well
- Pour 1 tsp batter in Idli stand. Put 1 tsp stuffing on it and cover the stuffing with some more idli batter.
- Cook on high flame for 5-7 minutes. Take out the Stan from idli vessel. Let it cool. Remove it from the stand
- Serve it with coconut chutney or sambhar
